theraputic uses of ecstasy

Ecstasy: An intense exaltation of mind and feelings; seventh heaven; bliss; euphoria; paradise; intoxication. The drug first synthesized by Merck Pharmaceuticals in Germany in 1912. In 1973, the first study in the literature mentioning Ecstasy was published, based upon toxicological research conducted in the early 1950’s by the Army’s chemical center; around the same time a small group of therapists and researchers began to use Ecstasy; which was known as Adam, in their practices. I personally think that Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) or better known as the “Raver Drug” Ecstasy, should be legalized for the use by doctors and/or Therapists as they see fit in their studies to help and bring their patients to a new level of self understanding and a new respect for life.
