Themes of Hercules

In the Disney rendition of the myth of Hercules there were a few reoccurring themes. One of these was the theme of heroes and villains. Another important theme is trying to belong.
The major theme that I noticed was theme of heroes and villains or protagonists and antagonists. In the movie, Hercules was the protagonist and Hades was the antagonist. Hercules tried to prove himself a true hero. In doing so he saved the lives of many people. Hercules saved many people in the city, tried to be prove himself helpful whenever possible, and he tried to save children who were trapped under rocks.
The children that Hercules saved were not children at all. They were Hades servants. Hades sent his servants to pose as children and then leave Hercules in a deathly situation....
