Abstract

While the number of people who divorce is certainly unprecedented, so is the number of
couples who celebrate their fortieth wedding anniversaries.(1) This paper is about keeping
families together. Are marriages doomed? Will single-parent households become the
norm? Can working parents properly raise their children while pursuing a career?
Does being the “breadwinner” in the family, make you the dominant partner? I will show
that marriages are not doomed, and family life can be blessed by communiticating,
instilling morals and values, and spending quality time together.
