The Unchanging Role of Women in Culture and REligion

Religion plays a big role in a lot of modernized cultures around the world. It inspires the laws that are made to protect us and provides a hope for a better society around us. In many instances, it also sets the scene for which individuals within or outside our communities should be treated; Individuals such as women. Some religions tell them to dress modestly, obey their husbands, and not to ask questions when given orders by a “superior” male. To some this may seem exaggerated, or even a little out dated, but the truth is that the, situations above are very much a reality for many women around the world.
