My first reaction to the literature was a horrible one. I stared at the small print with aching eyes and dreaded reading on. The beginning of the novel was tedious and boring. I had heard that it was an exciting and interesting story; however, when I found it to be dreary, I was very disappointed. I was looking forward to finding out more about the ghost encounters, but hoped it would come soon.

2. Feelings: What feelings did the literature awaken in you? What emotions did you feel?

As the story moved much further on, I felt more inclined to read and began getting interested. The literature awoke many feelings in me during different parts such as suspicion, frustration, curiosity, shock, and amazement. I felt like I was sucked into the nove...
