The Trojan War, What Caused It?
“The Iliad” by Homer and “The Aeneid” by Virgil explain many events of what led to the cause of the Trojan War. The differences between each story are that “The Aeneid” gives more meaning behind the story. Although Homer’s story, “The Iliad” is somewhat straightforward, there’s still not as much significance to the story. Altogether though each of the stories have the same basic reasoning for the causes and effects of the Trojan War.
