The Trip

The summer after sixth grade, I went to Camp Pepin. When you go to Camp Pepin you are able to go on a special trip during the week you are there. My cabin decided to go on a canoe trip and camp out on an island. The canoe trip with my cabin was horrible. We had so many things go wrong.
It took us thirty minutes to drive to the starting point of our trip. We piled into a mini-van like sardines. The van, a bright color of red, had a trailer connected to the back holding four canoes, all which were primed and shiny to take us on our extravagant trip. We had many comedians in our group and as we waited for the last few things to be put in the canoes, one of the guys decided to crack a joke. It was so funny that one of the two counselors fell in a canoe. He was hesitant at first to get up and when He finally did it exposed the huge dark spot on his shorts.
