The Stereotypical South

Over the years, the South has been branded with many different stereotypes. One of the most prevalent stereotypes is that all people living in the South are thickheaded. Another label is that the Caucasian race is continuing to persecute African Americans in the same way that they were persecuted during the slave days. Many people who are not from the South will always believe in the charming Southern hospitality. Whether good or bad, these examples are all stereotypes given to the inhabitants of the South.
