The Stadium

When Saturday morning finally came we all went on the airplane and I just sat down and took it all in. I could smell the damp odor of old seat cushions of the plane, the heavy perfume of the woman next to me who was headed to San Francisco, and the heavy roasted peanuts that they were passing out on the airplane. It was great finally to be traveling. When we finally landed and got out of the airplane the first thing that kind of woke me up was how cold it was. I never knew that San Francisco could be such a cold place year around. It was like 65 and I was freezing like it was the North Pole.
