The stability of a society depends on how it responds to the extremes of human behavior."

Society is the conglomeration of individual beings and Human is the atomic unit of a society. As the stability of a mass element depends on the stability of tiny particles. If one or few particles of an element are not in harmony, it will affect the stability of whole mass. Similarly, stability of society depends on harmonious state of its individual units. Because the individual units are so closely inter-linked that if one unit will go wry, it will affect other neighbor units.
So I firmly believe that the stability of society depends on how it responds to the extremes of human behavior.
