The Sixth Beatitude

The Sixth Beatitude can be generalized into three particular teachings which each person must acquire in order to be affluent in his or her life, explicitly, love, respect and concern for others.
A person is likely to love others the same way as he loves himself. This Beatitude is teaching us to love endlessly not only ourselves but also others. It teaches us that in order to continue living in this society, we should learn and discern how to cooperate with one another. It is true that it is very difficult to just always get along or in other words, parating nakikisama (Filipino; always getting along). Though it is reasonable for a person to refuse or to stop loving in the end, we should understand that in this world, there can¡¯t be two people always accepting, there should always be one giving.
