TRAGIC HERO- GREATNESS- usually re-ability grandeur
1. The hero, with Shakespeare, is a person of high degree or of public importance or sufferings are of an unusual kind.
2. The tragic hero with Shakespeare, then, need not be good,¯ through generally he is good¯
3. He should have so much of greatness


TRAGIC FLAW- usually Pride (hamortia) (a grand¯ weakness)
4. Others like Lear, Macbeth are built on the grand scale; and desire, passion or will attains in them a terrible force.
5. It is a fatal gift, but it carries with it a touch of greatness
6. Convulsion which produces suffering and death is never good
