The Sexual and Violent Permissiveness In Today’s Multi-Media In Making a Statement About Our Society

From billboards on our streets to commercials and television programs in our homes, sex and violence are portrayed in almost every aspect of media, depicting how the society functions or how it should function in what the media believes is the ideal world. Everything that we see appears so normal and natural, that we don’t even think, most of the time, about how it can negatively impact our lives. The beautiful and perfect bodies of the models in many ads, commercials, or TV shows, demonstrate how easy and perfect it is to become just like them, almost always focusing solely on the physical aspect. Ironically, other programs and movies, illustrate how easy and quick it is to destroy that perfection, creating the perfect balance between the two issues.
