The Seven Deadly Sins The Seven Deadly Sins Wealth without work Wealth without work is the same philosophy as something for nothing. With wealth comes great responsibility. That’s why most people (80% or more) who win the lottery or get large amounts of money in a short period of time, loss the money or the greatest majority of it within a short time. Gaining, having and maintaining wealth requires responsibility not only to yourself but also your family and society. If people give it all away then they haven’t learned several biblical principles about reaping and sowing, but also feeding people. The saying, “give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” is true. The same is true with wealth. If the man didn’t learn the responsibility of wealth he’ll loose it, but if a man learns how to create and keep wealth, he can feed nations.
