The relationship between the Scarlet Letter and Hester’s identity is that the Scarlet Letter has been sort of made into her identity and she doesn’t seem to mind it. Hester was in a way, kind of proud that she got to wear the Scarlet Letter. People went from thinking that Hester was just evil and a woman that bore a sin into a woman that was able and openly wore the Scarlet Letter.
