The Royal Dutch/Shell Group, a.k.a. Shell was developed in 1907, it was divided between the Royal Dutch Petroleum and the “Shell” Transport and Trading Company. Shell’s responsibility is to produce oil and gas in over 21 countries. In a world of swift and insightful change, every business man or woman still face up to the challenges of their day to day decisions that will affect their companies in the future. To help make this a simpler process, Shell uses scenarios to help their employees make the right decision for their companies future. Scenarios won’t predict the future, but they do their best to find the greatest ways to shape the future. Shell currently has two long-term scenarios that focuses on energy demand and that are leading the way to new business opportunities for the long road ahead.
