The Rensiassance was a period within itself

The question is “Was the Renaissance, with its unique advances, a period distinct from the Middle Ages or was it a continuation-the high point-of the Middle Ages?” The most reasonable answer to that question would be that the Renaissance was a period distinct from the Middle Ages. In the next few paragraphs there will be documents and reasons proving this thesis correct.
The Renaissance was a definite period of time within itself with new different features coming into terms. One feature that sticks out would be the rival of art and education. A document that supports this revival would be Document 1. Document 1 tells of the revival after 100 years of cultural sterility. The Renaissance’s revival of art came along with new influences for art, influences such as Gothic, Roman, Greek, medieval darkness and classical standards.
