The Physics of the Bagpipes

The musical instrument in which wind is supplied to one or more reed-sounded pipes from a bag inflated by the performer, either through a blowpipe or by means of a bellows is called the bagpipes. The wind supply is continuous; therefore meaning the pipes can not be silent. Repeated notes are articulated by means of inserting grace notes between them.
