Wuthering Heights: Love vs. Hate & Good vs. Evil
What is the beginning is the end, in this novel of love vs. hate and good vs. evil. Heathcliff possessed all of those qualities within himself and more. He was a multi-dimensional character who started out with the love of a girl and ended longing for the love of that same girl. Heathcliff expressed love or hatred for every character in this novel. Even though he had a lot of hatred in his heart loved prevailed at the end. This showing that good conquers evil eventually.
Heathcliff loved Catherine with the depths of his soul. They were natural born soul mates from childhood to adulthood. Even though not everyone accepted him, Catherine shared a friendship bound by the chains of love.
