INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this short paper is to address who is the real hero in the film ?The Neverending Story?, and also to consider the key characters and their roles in the film. This movie was first released in 1984. It is about a lonely little boy who in needs of a friend but instead he finds a world that needs a hero in a land beyond imagination, as he reads the book that he found. This film is about fantasy films, where it took place in the world of imagination, where anything is possible and could happen.

It is about a 12 year old boy named Bastian who has recently and tragically lost his mother in an accident. His parents had been separated, but his dad moved back in with him after that tragedy happened.
