The movie “Conspiracy Theory” as pertaining to Schizophrenia

While viewing the movie “Conspiracy Theory”, it at first seems evident to the audience that the lead character Jerry suffers from a rare mental disease called schizophrenia. But later, throughout the rest of the movie, the audience can see that Jerry may not be crazy, but may possibly know the truth about the conspiracies. Because of this shift, it is hard for the viewer to judge whether Jerry is truly suffering from schizophrenia or if he is merely “in the know”.
