The Miraculous Place—Xinjiang

Have you ever heard of a place called heaven? No, not the place beyond the sky. The miraculous place I’ll introduce is Xinjiang, which is located in Northwest China, right here on the earth. Xinjiang is in the Uygur Autonomous Region, the largest region in China, covering one sixth of China’s total. Its wonderful attractions are its beautiful natural scenery, delicious Xinjiang-style delicacy and mysterious desert.
A great deal of Xinjiang is desert and mountain. In fact, many cities were founded on oasises growing vegetables and delicious fruits. When you step onto this vast land, stretching far beyond the horizon, the wide green pasture may attract you at first sight. This continuous and unbroken pasture seems to be an immense green carpet, which covers most of the whole prairie.
