“The Man Who Did Not Smile”
The short story “The Man Who Did Not Smile” is a very touching story. The author carefully makes the setting, point of view, conflict, irony and symbolism. The author reminds us that everyone loves the artistic material but those things are just the misconception. It conceals the actual expression of the man leaving only the suspicions. Everything that is in reality can’t be changed and happiness can’t be brought with such things as artistic material
The story is about the man who writes the movie script. The author has made a perfect setting in one of the town of Japan. The narrator wants his last scene to be something more distinctive and pleasant. He including other crew members films the movie in the middle of the night. The next day, he gets tired and feels some beautiful daydream. He feels the mountains appearing before his eyes and the new green...
