THE LOVE OF SOFTBALL

The softball field is a place that I can go to forget all the stresses of my life. After a long day of school or work, I drive over to my high school softball diamond and sit on 3rd base. During my 4 years in high school I played varsity earning two most valuable player awards and many league titles. After 4 years of working hard, I was offered a full athletic scholarship to play softball at the college level. The softball field symbolizes a place of purity, a freedom of mind, and personal achievement. I can honestly say that the softball diamond is my most comfortable place in the world. The softball diamond is the most invigorating atmosphere when the senses are at full intensity.
