The Parable of the Son, found in the New testament according to St. Luke, implies the statue of forgiveness. In a story like this there are many different lessons that you can take away, the moral fact of the story and relations shown between the characters. Through distinct characters, tranquil setting, and great value factor it is a reading that can be influential as well as inspiring to many.

In the story there are three main characters the father and the two sons. When we look at the two words Protagonist and Antagonist there are distinct characters for both words. The father who would be defined as the Protagonist shows how a person can be forgiving, when he did not know if his son was alive and weather he was alive. He did not care that he had wasted all of his goods foolishly or that he had crawled back in forgiveness. “ For my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found” (66) ...
