Thomas Jefferson was a American hero. He was born in 1743 in Virginia. Before he was a president his main occuptions were a planter and a lawyer. He was a republican of his time which later developed into the democratic party of today. He had two vice presidents. Aaron burr and George Clinton. Thomas Jefferson was the 13th president to grace this fine nation that we call the united states of America. He was elected in 1804 qt the age of 57 and he retired in 1817.
