THE LIBERATION OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION IN ITALIAN SOCIETY

The expression of Art during the Italian renaissance had an extremely influential affect over Italian culture and lead to a dramatic economic change. During the Italian renaissance art separated from religion and its themes to become more of an essential part of society. Separating art from religion allowed artists to express themselves in a unique fashion that has never been used or seen before and thus leading to the economy being greatly influenced. Many things changed drastically during the time of the renaissance, including; painters direct association with families, the free realistic statue, and the discovery of such great technological advances.

Separating religion from the artistic world, artists could now diversify the style in which they expressed their artistic ability and passion. With this up-roar and success of “liberated” artists the royal families encouraged people to continue with their express...
