The Last Wave

The Last Wave concerns a lawyer David Burton, played by Richard Chamberlain, who defends five aborigines accused of killing a sixth aborigine in Sydney, Australia. As an Australian lawyer, David defends Chris, an aborigine clan member, for murdering another aborigine man. Through them, Chamberlain comes in contact with what the aborigines call "dream time" and his own involvement with their myths. David is plagued by visions of impending doom and dreams he doesn’t know how they come about. David becomes more involved in the case then finds out much about the aboriginal culture and realizes that this case is something more what is really seen.
