Michael Jackson was born to a large family in Gary, Indiana on August 29th, 1958. His life was one big roller coaster ride, but this did not stop the talented star from going on to be one of the best performers of all time.
Michael was known for performing even at such a young age. Four years into his life, Michael Jackson was the lead vocalist of the group formed with his brothers Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Jermaine, The Jackson Five. Playing just a few short years at small clubs and local talent shows around their hometown, the group was signed to Motown Records in 1968. The group had no idea what lied ahead for them; this was just the beginning.
