The King of Chivalry
In the days between 1066 and 1485, a period arose which would forever be remembered for its legend, literature, art, and the plagues, which so tragically put an end to it all. In these medieval days kings, queens, bishops, and knights were common titles among the many lands of Europe. Often referred to as the Dark Ages due to the 1,000 years after the decline of the Roman Empire, Medieval Europe was the representation of chivalry and all that came with it – where proud knights spared the poor, worshipped God and gave utmost respect to the ladies. Possibly the greatest among these chivalrous people was a courageous and noble man named Arthur. As legend holds it, he later went on to be appointed as King of Britain and ruled as a wise and strong king should.
