Another reason why I feel that television serves a good cause is because educational programs for children like Sesame Street and Barney. I can remember as a child waking up in the morning and watching Sesame Street. Even though other cartoons such as the Power Rangers provoke violence and encourage children to fight, there are those programs that do not provoke violence like Sesame Street and Barney.
