The inspiration of desert

Begin with the urbanization movement, more and more people move to live in cities. However, many naturalists like Henry David Thoreau and Barbara Kingsolver have criticized the industrialization and crowed city life in modern life. They promote the beauty of wilderness and call for a simple life. According to Barbara Kingsolver, ¡°Wilderness puts us in our place. It reminds us that our plans are small and absurd.¡±
For me, desert is the place that inspires me.
