The importance of following all lawful orders

This essay will discuss the importance of following all lawful orders and the importance and history of customs and courtesies given to NCO’s. I will start by explaining the situation that has brought all of this about. Sgt Garcia was conducting physical training on 29 October 2003, She was called out to formation and proceeded to give the platoon a diagnostic “PT” test. I have been running at night and the night prior I ran very hard and was very tired and sore in the morning. I was falling way behind every body I turned around with about 1/8 of a mile left to the turn around point. I ran all the way back with Sgt Brewczak , at no point during this run did I stop running. I thought that it wasn’t a big deal but Sgt Garcia did. I did not argue because I knew that in the end I was wrong. If she said go to the 1 mile mark then I should’ve gone even if it meant walking.
