The importance of fitness during pregnancy

Being fit is always important whether a person is in their 20s, 30s or older. The fact that we need exercise does not change but the type of exercise that is ideal for one can differ for another. The same is the case for a pregnant woman. What is physical fitness and why is it important during a pregnancy? Physical fitness is being healthy and being healthy requires exercising, eating right and sleeping well. Physical fitness makes people feel healthy while ensuring a longer life. Staying fit during a pregnancy is not much different from that of a non-pregnant person. Staying fit means eating healthy foods and or exercising regularly. One of the first steps to fitness is a healthy diet.
