The History Of Computers

It all starts with a dream. Dreams become reality. The history of the computer dates all the way back to the 1930s. We will go back to our past to see how we have a present today. Computers have made the present easier today. How many people do you know that do not use a computer, everyone does and it seems that everything will be run by computers in the future.
It all started when electronic computers were first developed during the 1930’s and 1940’s. From 1939 to 1942 John Atanasoff an Iowa State College physics professor, and his graduate student assistant Clifford Berry developed a computing device that performed mathematical calculations. It was called the Atanosoff-Berry Computer (ABC), it used vacuum tubes to process data, making it the first entirely electronic computer.
