The Hero’s Role in Society


In a society, such as ours, it is difficult to make a difference that will effect the lives of many, but in the movie Erin Brockovich, Julia Roberts, plays a character that does just that. She is able to come into the homes of many people and get to know them in a way that makes them realize she cares, and enables them to trust her. She also makes her life in the law world through hard work, while struggling to support her three children, in their lives as well. By combining these three supporting points it is easy to see how Erin Brockovich offers a sound depiction of the difficulties of making a difference in a society known for overshadowing the accomplishments of hard working people.
