The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, tells a story of a young man's quest to win back his true love. Throughout Jay Gatsby's attempts to recover the love of Daisy, whom he once lost, one is able to see what great of a person he is. Though there are many obstacles that he must overcome, even the ones that seem almost impossible do not halt his progress. His determination to conquer his dreams proves that in a world full of superficial beings, one true and genuine heart will always shine through. Through Gatsby’s actions and everyday routines one can clearly understand his devotion to love and his generosity which demonstrate that he truly is a fine man.
Gatsby’s immense devotion to love shapes him into the good person that he demonstrates to be. His devotion to love not only reveals his dedication but also his determination.
