Over the summer I read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It’s a classic and well-known novel based in 1922. Fitzgerald wrote many books but many people agree that this one is his beast. I think it was really good and entertaining, it never got boring or lost my interest.
To describe this book I would say it was like a soap opera. It had a lot of mystery, romance and shock. It starts out with a guy, Nick Carraway, moving to Long Island in the West Egg area. He rents a house next to huge mansion, which is owned by Jay Gatsby. He is known for throwing huge extravagant parties on the weekends. Nick later finds out that his cousin Daisy Buchanan lives in the East Egg of Long Island, the upper class section.
