The Golden Truth
When I think back through my childhood, there is one great truth that stands out above all the rest. It is three little words that have been spoken so often that they hold little meaning for most of us when we hear them. How could three words be so significant? Because they signify a truth that is, and always will be present in each of our lives. They have been spoken in the text of every major religion, and have been the basis for any healthy relationship between two or more people. No matter what age, ethnicity, or whatever differences we may have, The Golden Rule remains constant throughout time. From large political decisions to individual relationships, the rule has profound meaning for us all. How do we accomplish this phrase: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?
