Genetic engineering is a new development in 20 century¡¦s technology and it became very animation until now. One of the most comments used is transferring the gene proteins from one thing to anther, which can improve the food quality. We called these food transgenic products. However there still have many considerations.

There is a growth hormone in the cows called the bovine somatotrophin (BST), which stimulate them to produce more milk. In 1980 the scientists of America used genetic engineering to extract the DNA, which controlled the hormone BST from the cows cells. Then the scientists transferred this DNA into bacteria¡¦s and found that BST can produce fast in the bacteria. Then the scientists took those BST from the bacteria injected into the cows. The cows developed better appetites after regular injections of the extra hormone BST and secreted large amount of milk.
