Jim has grown up over the past years in a very different way to ant other young boy of his age would. Jim has been away from his parents and anyone close to him. Jim has grown up with tow main influences in his life Dr Ransome and Basie. Basie is not the most ideal person to bring jim up or lurn from in a normal life style but jim did not grow up in a normal life style he grew up in a prisoner of war camp for 3 years without his parent and took a journy to get there.
