The Effects of The Revolutionary War

The war in 1775 for the Americans to gain independence had a large effect on many different types of people. The American Revolution had a large impact on all the people, especially the ones who participated. It also had very many consequences for the people involved.
The Revolutionary War involved a large number of Native Americans. The Indians were taken advantage of by the Americans because they were taking over their land. The small villages were displaced by white settlement. The more stronger tribes dominated most of the interior region between the Appalachian Mountains and the Mississippi River. The Native Americans had such a powerful military force, that by spring of 1776, both the British and the Americans were looking for the Indian alliances. To get them as allies, England provided them with trade goods, arms, and markets for furs, also promised protection against colonial expansion. In 1777 when the Iroquois decide...
