What does “The Door” say about change?
How effective is it?

“The Door”, written by Miroslav Holub, displays many different ideas that all link into the theme of change.
The line “Go open the door”, is telling the reader to approach their lives and try new things, experience life, change their perspective, and look at the different possibilities. It intices the reader in. The use of symbolization helps the reader to imagine a barrier or “door” in their lives. It is seen as a dual metaphor for out physical limits, emotional setbacks and perceptions.
