The Differences in Life before and After Rehab The Differences in Life After Rehabilitation Those who have never lived a lifestyle of addictions may not understand how much life has changed for me. There are many differences in my life now, since I have become drug-free. My lifestyle, desires, and my personal needs are all different. Since I was fourteen years old, up until a year and half ago my lifestyle has changed. My days used to consist of hanging out with people whom I thought were my friends. We used to drink, smoke pot, and sometimes even snort cocaine. I thought at that time my life was great and it could not get any better. Eventually, things grew to be progressively worse and worse. I began smoking crack and losing many things that I had worked hard to get. While I was out one night getting high, I got so high that my chest began to hurt and my body started going numb. After coming down off the high, I looked back on what had happened, and realized that I could have die...
