The desire of corporations to maximize profits creates conflict with the general welfare of the nation at large.

Profit is the sole motto of many corporations. They become ruthless in imposing their will on people under the blanket of profit. Profit being their sole motto ,they forget about the general interests of people and nation at large. They tend to maximize their profit at any cost on the nation and in turn people. They try to influence various policies of the nation for their ease of victory in market or whatsoever. They tend to bend the economic policies for their profits. This is very much evident in the lobying done by big corporations during important policy making. Such change in policies to favour corporations, which were actually designed in a view of welfare of the people ,may lead to difficulties for the common people.

Corporations with a view of maximizing profits may cut down on the quality of the product or service. This may lead to catastrophic consequences....
