Objectives:

The purpose of this lab is to fully understand the intensive property known as density. This lab will familiarize students with scientific equipment, such as the top-loading balance, hydrometer and the graduated cylinder. Students also will learn the terms precision, accuracy, error, standard deviation, absolute deviation and variance, as well as the ability to keep good organized notes.

1. Unknown metal
2. Hydrometer
