The Deficiencies in Traditional Training Programs

In countless organizations, top management often view training as a logistical requirement instead of as a viable technique for changing performance. This misguided view causes two deficiencies in training:
1. Trainers fail to design training programs that consist of techniques for changing behavior
2. Training occurs once or twice and without follow-up to maintain behavior change.
