The Day I Got Bruiser

“I found one!” I screamed running to give the newspaper to my mom. “I found an ad on Mastiff puppies for sale.” I begged my mom to call and she refused to call because she didn’t want another dog just yet. I was very sad and was angry for a little while. Then one day after school we went and then we finally got the puppies Bruiser and Sissy.
I remember getting out of school one day and having my mom pick me up. We pulled out of the school parking lot and started to go towards my house turned down Northland Drive and when we hit 14 Mile we turned towards Greenville. So I knew that something was up but I just wasn’t sure what. I kept asking and she just wouldn’t tell me where we were going. So then I just sat back and started doing my homework that I had for that night. I started thinking and then that ad about the dogs popped into my head.
