the crucible

The Crucible is a story taken place in Salem, Massachusetts. The historical period takes place during the witchcraft trials. The historical period is portrayed very well including the language, clothing and historical content. The actors had an English accent that would be typical of the Colonial Americans during this time period. The makers of the film tried their best to make the film as accurate as possible to actual history. I do realize, in order to make a story into a film, there were a lot of extra fictional aspects added to make the story more interesting.
