The Crash

I felt uneasy walking down the street, with no cars making any noises. There was only the moonlight to guide my way to my house. I had been walking for almost an hour, on my way back from a dinner that went horribly wrong. I had gone to sizzlers for my birthday but things didn’t go as planned. Halfway through my meal I asked if I could borrow some money as my car had been towed. But that ungrateful wench threw a drink in my face and left me there with no way of getting home, I couldn’t understand why she had done that. With what that stupid wench had put me through so far. I had thought to call a taxi but decided not to as I could use the long walk home to cool off.


As I was walking I wondered why there was no-one else around. The street was eerily quiet. The buildings that lined the road seemed to be abandoned, there were no lights on and no-one was walking around the streets. The sky was clear and you could see every star that loomed in front of the black depth, the full moo...
